Air Rammer

Air Rammers compact material through rapid reciprocating blows delivered to a flat or shaped butt. In foundries they pack moulding sand firmly and evenly around a pattern, producing the consistent mould density that carries straight into casting quality. In construction and utility work the same action tamps backfill in trenches and around footings, where a plate compactor cannot reach. Air drive keeps the tool light, simple to service, and usable in damp or confined conditions.
