Air Needle Scaler uses a bundle of reciprocating steel needles to remove rust, scale, and old coatings from irregular and contoured metal surfaces such as welds, pipes, and castings, where a flat chisel blade can’t follow the shape.

The needle bundle conforms to uneven surfaces while delivering rapid impact action, and models range from medium-duty to heavy-duty bodies, including vacuum-shrouded versions for dust containment and safety-lever variants for controlled operation.

Air Needle Scaler is ideal for shipbuilding, weld cleanup, and surface preparation on irregular metal shapes where a chisel scaler’s flat blade doesn’t reach effectively.
